Dayashankar’s wife files FIR against Mayawati for ‘mental torture’
Lucknow: Expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh’s wife Swati on Friday alleged that she and her minor daughter were being threatened and harassed by Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) activists and lodged an FIR against party chief Mayawati for the ‘mental trauma’ her family was being subjected to.
A case was registered at the Lucknow police station, based on the complaint of Dayashankar’s wife and his mother under the sections 120b ( Punishment of criminal conspiracy), 153A (promoting enmity), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (insulting the modesty of woman) of IPC. Mayawati and three other BSP leaders were named in the FIR.
Dayashankar Singh is facing arrest for making derogatory remarks against BSP chief Mayawati and her supporters have been making vicious attacks against him ever since.
“I will lodge an FIR against Mayawati ji over the mental trauma faced by my family. He has been removed from all party posts, he has even been sacked from the party, but Mayawati is still not satisfied. If she puts her mind to it, she could even get him beheaded,” Swati Singh had earlier said.

Singh’s wife alleged that BSP activists were openly asking people to call her and were abusing her 12-year-old daughter.
“BSP activists are summoning me and my daughter, they are abusing her. My daughter is traumatised, is this not condemnable? Should she not sack her party members for abusing us?” Singh’s wife said.
She asked if Mayawati would take responsibility if anything happened to her or her minor daughter.
